In early 2020, the pandemic hit the United States and many youth innovation programs canceled, postponed and, in some cases, closed their doors permanently. A small group of innovative leaders collaborated on a new platform to celebrate the impacted innovators across the world. The program known as GIFT (Global Innovation Field Trip), is a bi-annual, 24-hour, online, multi-country celebration of young innovators and innovative programs.

Over the course of the next 4 years, more than 1,700 students and program leaders from more than 70 countries have shared their story of innovation on our global stage.  Some of these stories have been so compelling, we felt it was important to share the stories further, help raise awareness and promote the amazing organizations and individuals leading these initiatives.
