Thank you for your interest in the 2024 Global Innovation Challenge(GIC)!

For students not advanced to the GIC through a partner organization, we request that you submit this GIC Preliminary Application to help us to determine your eligibility to participate in this year’s challenge. 

Complete the application form below to be considered as a participant of the 2024 GIC. If a team is participating, you will only need to complete one form, including the contact information for all team members.

The form must be completed in a single online session so you will not be able to save it and come back to it. Scroll down to glance at the information you will need to collect to complete the registration in full. 

What to Expect Next:

• Once your preliminary application is submitted you will hear back from a member of the GIC team with 2 weeks. If you have questions, please write to our International Coordinator Jake Mendelssohn at jake@jakemendelssohn.name.

• The result of submitting a Preliminary Application:

  • Completing the Preliminary Application does not guarantee that you will qualify for the 2024 GIC. The Preliminary Application helps our team decide, based on the information you provide, whether you are ready to qualify for this year’s event. 

  • You may receive an invitation to participate in GIC along with additional instructions.

  • You may receive a recommendation to work through a partnering organization that may help you qualify for GIC now or in the future as determined by the partnering organization.

NOTE: The overall registration deadline for the 2024 GIS is 12-September, 2024. In order to meet that deadline Preliminary Applications must be submitted no later than September 1, 2024.
