Three students from a rural region of Indonesia created new food inventions, which they will present at the Jan 17 Global Innovation Field Trip (GIFT) at 4:00AM & 4:15 AM (Easter Time). The Indonesian government heard about the inventions and were very impressed by the inventions and the fact that the students would be presenting at GIFT. The students were flown to the capital, Jakarta, and at a special ceremony, their school was given 5,000,000 Rupiah as an award.

“The Global Innovation Field Trip was amazing! The opportunity to listen to young people all over the world share their ideas, creativity, and passions was very inspiring and brought me great hope for our future. It was the ideal platform for youth to globally connect, support, and celebrate each other, while making an impact and bringing awareness to others around the world. A real world example of diversity and equity in education.”
