Description

The 3DuxDesign Classroom STEM Bundle for grades 5-12 is an out-of-the-box solution offering a versatile toolkit and more than enough modeling materials for a wide variety of engineering projects, making it an ideal resource for both 3DuxDesign challenges and any other hands-on modeling or engineering activities happening in the classroom. In addition to our basic design challenges, the bundle also provides comprehensive support, including facilitator guides, student guides, video tutorials, and access to the Sustainable Energy Lesson..

The Sustainable Energy Kit engages students in building anything from a tiny home to entire communities powered by wind and solar energy, diving into the mechanics of renewable energy while optimizing designs with parallel and series circuit concepts. Students will discover that wind turbines, with their higher voltage, allow for series connections, while solar panels operate in parallel circuits. For older students, switches and voltmeters provide the opportunity for deeper exploration of voltage, current, and their real-world applications in global energy systems.

To make implementation seamless, the kit includes easy-to-follow facilitator and student guides, ensuring an out-of-the-box learning experience that is scaffolded to build understanding while offering open-ended extensions to enrich and extend the project-based learning experience.
