Top innovators will be notified on January 8 via email (and posted on this page) and invited to the January 15-16 Global Innovation Challenge to share their work. 

Tune in to https://www.youtube.com/c/globalinnovationfieldtrip on January 15 beginning at 3:45pm (EDT/USA/(UTC-4) to meet the young innovators.

  • SELECT a locally accessible, fresh, healthy food. This can be a food or product that already exists or one you make yourself.
  • BUILD your own creative marketing campaign (in English). To convince others to try your “delicious and nutritious” food, please:  
      • Make one of the following: 1. a flyer, 2. brochure or 3. poster
      • And a 15-45 second video (cellphone quality is perfect!)
  • SUBMIT your challenge entry.
  • COST: NO COST.
  • WHO IS ELIGIBILE: Any K-12 student (or teams of up to 3 students).
  • CHALLENGE OPENS: Oct. 16, 2021.
  • CHALLENGE DEADLINE: January 6, 2022.
  • TOP CHALLENGERS ANNOUNCED: Jan. 8, 2022 & Present at Global Innovation Field Trip – Jan 16, 2022.

The Inspiration Behind this Challenge:

We met Taylor Quinn (Tailored Food) this summer and were inspired by his work and his journey.  World traveler, sustainable food evangelist and zero hunger advocate, Taylor has inspired us to help young innovators learn the skills they need help eradicate hunger in their communities and around the world.
